What this is

Daily Christian Text is a simple paid service that sends one Christian message to your phone each morning. Each message includes a Bible verse, a short reflection, and one simple action you can take that day.

By subscribing and using this service, you’re agreeing to these basic terms and this privacy policy.

 

What you get

  • One text message per day (most days in the morning).

  • Each text includes a verse, a short reflection, and one simple action.

  • This is a personal devotional tool, not counseling, not therapy, and not a replacement for church or pastoral care.

I may occasionally send an extra message (for example, about schedule changes or special series), but this will be rare.

 

Payments & cancellations

  • Billing is handled through Stripe.

  • Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime through the same platform you used to sign up (no long-term contracts).

If you cancel, your billing stops on the next cycle and your texts will end at or shortly after the end of your paid period.

 

Stopping the texts

You are always in control of the messages you receive.

  • You can stop the text messages instantly by replying STOP to any message.

  • You can reply HELP if you need help or have a question.

Stopping the texts does not automatically cancel your paid subscription with Stripe. You’ll still need to cancel your plan there so you’re not charged again.

 

What information I collect

To run this service, I collect:

  • Your phone number (to send the texts)

  • Your name and/or email (to manage your account and communicate about your subscription)

  • Billing details are collected and stored securely by Stripe, not by me directly.

I do not store your full payment card number on my own systems.

 

How your information is used

I use your information to:

  • Send your daily text messages

  • Manage your subscription and payment status

  • Contact you if there’s an issue with your account or the service

  • Improve the service over time (for example, understanding how many people are active)

 

Sharing your information

I do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

I may share limited information with service providers I use to run the service, such as:

  • My SMS provider (Twilio)

  • My payment processor (Stripe)

  • Basic tools for email or customer support

They only get what they need to perform their role (for example, your phone number to send texts, or your email for receipts).

 

Message & data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan and carrier. Check with your mobile provider if you’re unsure.

You’re responsible for any charges from your carrier.

 

Age

This service is intended for adults. By subscribing, you’re confirming that you are at least 18, or using it with a parent/guardian’s permission.

 

Not medical, mental health, or professional advice

The messages are meant for encouragement and spiritual reflection. They are not:

  • Medical advice

  • Mental health treatment

  • Legal, financial, or professional advice

If you’re struggling with your mental or physical health, please reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted person in your life.

 

Changes to this service or these terms

I may update the service or these Terms & Privacy from time to time. When I do, I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. By continuing to use the service after changes are posted, you’re agreeing to the updated version.
